In a move that really shouldn’t surprise anyone, Google isn’t selling the Pixel 3 or 3 XL anymore. Any links for the phone on the company’s store redirect to the store homepage now. In a statement to Android Police, Google says it sold through its existing inventory, and sales for the phone has completed.

The Pixel 3 and 3 XL are aging phones, and you can already purchase their successors, the 4 and 4 XL. And in November 2018, we were questioning the value of the phone even as we called it the best Android phone around. Now, more than a year later, we can’t even say it’s the best Android Phone around, let alone the most valuable (hello OnePlus phones).

These turn of events shouldn’t be too shocking; Google stopped selling the Pixel 2 and 2 XL almost a year ago to the day. If you’re desperate, you can still find the Pixel 3 and 3 XL through other retailers, like Best Buy. But once those retailers are out of inventory, you’re likely to be out of luck.

Then again, unless you need the excellent camera software on Pixel phones, we think it’s a better deal to buy an OnePlus 7T instead. You can often find it for the same price as a Pixel 3 anyway, and you’ll get newer hardware.
